In addition to our work as top-notch attorneys, our founder--Georgine Brave--is also a committed social activist. Ms. Brave is among the most vigorous Family Law advocates in San Diego. She provides free legal services to HIV positive patients through San Diego Volunteer Lawyers, and volunteers her time working with a breast cancer peer-counseling program. Her ability to clarify complex issues and warm support has helped numerous clients through a complex legal process.

This altruistic spirit is also evident in Julie Mack, an associate with Brave's office, who volunteered at the YWCA legal clinic and Legal Aid during her years in law school. Mack combines her background in social work with her career as a lawyer. "I have the best of both worlds here," says Mack. "I get to work on a one-on-one basis with my clients, so I actually see my work pay off with tangible results."
