Georgine Brave, Attorney at Law
A 1983 graduate of the University of
San Diego Law School, Georgine Brave was a teacher before entering the legal profession. A
New York native, Ms. Brave is among the most vigorous Family Law advocates in San Diego.
Her talents as a tough adversary and a successful negotiator earn her the praise of both
clients and the business community. In 1998 and 1999, she was nominated for the
"Women Who Mean Business" award sponsored by the San Diego Business Journal and
has served on the prestigious Board of Directors of the Women's Legal Center for 12 years.
Empathetic and understanding, Ms.
Brave's approach to Family Law incorporates over 18 years of legal experience with unique
sensitivity and superior communication skills gained through working with students and
families. Ms. Brave provides free legal service to HIV positive clients through San Diego
Volunteer Lawyers and has volunteered for 6 years through "Reach to Recovery"
program of the American Cancer Society with breast cancer patients. Her warm support and
ability to clarify complex issues has helped numerous clients through various complex
legal processes.

Julie R. Mack, Attorney at Law
Julie Mack graduated Magna Cum
Laude at California Western School of Law in 1997. Among many achievements, Ms. Mack
received several American Jurisprudence Awards and is a published writer. As a volunteer
with the YWCA Legal Clinic and Legal Aid, she has experience assisting domestic violence
victims and other complex family law issues.
Ms. Mack is dedicated to guiding
clients through the legal system and protecting their rights. She enjoys working
with complex financial and property issues. As a former social services worker, Ms. Mack
appreciates clients' needs for solid communication, strong advocacy and emotional support,
since joining the firm in 1997. Ms. Mack became a partner of our firm on January 1, 2006.
Aside from being an attorney, Ms. Mack is also a
trained mediator. Through mediation, she helps couples negotiate directly and resolve
difficult issues in an unthreatening and confidential environment.

Shawn Weber, Attorney at Law
Shawn Weber began work with the
firm in 1998 as a certified law clerk, and became an associate attorney in 2001 when he
graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law. Mr. Weber became a partner of
our firm on January 1, 2006.
As an advocate, Mr. Weber strives
for a healthy balance between negotiation and fierce advocacy. He understands that his
clients are people who are looking to him for help and strives to exceed their
expectations. Mr. Weber's ability to communicate, empathize with clients and provide
personal service earns him the respect of opposing attorneys and the praise of clients.
Aside from being an attorney, Mr.
Weber is also a trained mediator. He offers both parties the opportunity to resolve
difficult issues such as alimony or visitation in an unthreatening and confidential
environment. Through mediation, Mr. Weber helps parties directly negotiate with each
other, and to consider the advantages and risks of all available options.
Mr. Weber is a father of three
children. He works with teenagers at his church and volunteers with the Boy Scouts of

Jeremy
Martin, Associate Jeremy Martin is
our newest associate at Brave, Weber & Mack. Mr. Martin recently graduated from
California Western School of Law in 2005 and joined the firm in 2006. Mr. Martin is an
active member of the Greater San Diego Business Association (GSDBA). Since joining
the firm, he has become well versed in the new Domestic Partnership law and has assisted
our clients in navigating its complex legal terrain. Attorney Martins approach to
the law is bolstered by his ability to understand and empathize with families in any given
situation. He has a vast amount of life experience which enables him to relate to
clients from a myriad of backgrounds. In fact, Mr. Martin has lived in five
different countries where he became fluent in Danish and conversant in Spanish. Mr.
Martin also advocates for global economic justice initiatives such as the KIVA project
which provides micro-loans to developing nations throughout the globe.
